Digital SAT practice tests are now available

Digital practice tests have arrived! Students planning to take the digital SAT now have access to four full-length, adaptive practice tests recently released by the College Board.

How can I access the new practice tests?

Download the Bluebook app and enter your College Board account information. You will then have the option to explore the Test Preview—a space to familiarize yourself with the test format, practice using the on-screen tools, and work through a few unscored practice questions—or complete Full-Length Practice.

We recommend downloading the app to the device you plan to use on test day and practicing in the Test Preview platform to figure out how the tools work as you plan for your first official exam. Given that these four practice tests are all we're likely to see from the College Board for some time, it's a good idea to space them out over the course of your test prep timeline rather than burning through them all at once.

What on-screen tools can students use?

The digital testing app's tools include

  • a timer (which can be hidden)
  • an annotation tool for highlighting text and leaving typed notes
  • an answer eliminator to cross out answer choices you think are incorrect
  • a flagging tool to mark questions for review
  • a calculator (which can be used on all math problems)
  • a math reference sheet
