As summer break comes to an end and the school year begins, it’s important that students start off on the right foot. You may have already registered for the SAT or ACT, but that’s only half the battle. The other half? Planning out and following an optimal test prep timeline.

Luckily, the test prep experts at ArborBridge have you covered.

We’ve been keeping up with the all the latest announcements surrounding the college admission exams—including the latest about the upcoming new ACT, difficulty levels on the digital SAT and digital SAT official practice materials—and, more importantly, what this all means for students.

These types of updates may unexpectedly influence how students should prepare for the SAT or ACT. For example, U.S.-based students may want to prep for the paper-based ACT or the digital SAT rather than take a chance on the upcoming ACT about which little is known so far. The last thing you want is to frantically have to change prep plans at the last minute.

That being said, below you’ll find two recommended test prep timelines for students. Note: These timelines were created with rising juniors (class of 2026) in mind.
