Why ArborBridge prioritizes student wellbeing
Research shows that better mental health leads to better academic performance, but wellbeing for our students also extends far beyond their achievements in school and on standardized tests. It forms an essential foundation for their ability to learn to succeed and achieve their full potential. That’s why centering student wellbeing has been an integral part of the ArborBridge approach since day one.
How ArborBridge's focus on student wellbeing continues to evolve
In 2022, we launched our research-backed Executive Functioning and Performance Mindset program, aimed at helping students manage performance-related stress on standardized exams and develop the skills they need to succeed in school. Since then, we’ve made student wellbeing even more central to our programs, integrating vetted and research-backed wellbeing activities and resources into our executive functioning and test prep services.
Most recently, we’ve deepened this commitment through a partnership with the Mattering Movement, an organization committed to providing adults and youth with the tools and skills they need to build meaningful community, to buffer against stress and anxiety, and make a positive impact on the world. This collaboration represents the next step in our ongoing mission to help students achieve their goals while also building confidence, resilience, and a growth mindset to carry with them for a lifetime.
Looking Ahead
At ArborBridge, we believe that when students feel supported in their whole selves, they don’t just succeed academically — they flourish. Stay tuned for further updates on how we continue to center wellbeing in our services.
