ACT Cancellations Amidst Inclement Weather and Fires

Wildfires in Southern California and inclement weather in parts of the Southeastern and Middle Atlantic states have led to the rescheduling of dozens of ACT testing centers for tomorrow’s official test date.  ACT notified affected students via e-mail and through a post on its website.

This postponement comes at a difficult time for seniors hoping to submit another standardized test score for the upcoming round of application deadlines. Unfortunately, affected students are not eligible to test at an alternative testing site on December 9th. ACT will contact students with a rescheduled test date; ACT did not disclose a timeline for this process.

Affected students may also voluntarily change their registration to any available test date and center, at no additional charge, by calling ACT before the appropriate registration deadline.
